RE: Check your chapters status for membership issues


First of all, congratulations to our new slate of chapter and colony officers. Being 
elected by your peers to lead your chapter is quite an honor. It also comes with 
many responsibilities. One of your main duites is to insure that your chapter 
membership is properly reported and that all pledges and initiates have been 
registered. 

You can check on your chapters status by visiting our website at 
www.sigmapi.org. On the first page of the website you will see several boxes at 
the bottom of the page. Click on to "Online Executive Office". Once in this section 
you click to "Chapter Statistics". Then go to "Pledge & Initiate Report".This will 
provide you with a spreadsheet that shows many statistics on your 
chapter/colony. The headings should provide you with enough information to 
determine if you have reported all new pledges and initiates for this academic year. 
We realize that the majority of chapter/colonies are now recruiting for the Spring 
semester so pledges in this category may be blank for now. Please check on all 
statistics for the Fall semester to see that your chapter has complied. 
You will also notice that there is a section for "Ticklers" which actually means that 
we have some issues with a persons registration. It may require a form, a fee or a 
date of pledging or initiation. You can find the exact status by going back to 
heading of "Chapter Statistics" and then going to "Unresolved Membership 
Issues". Please check you your chapter to see if you have anyone in this 
category. In most cases they are very simple to resolve and can be handled by 
calling Nadine Mills at 1-800-332-1897.
