Born Jan. 21, 1971. A native of Boca Raton,
Florida, Foy rushed Sigma Pi in the fall of 1990
as a member of the Zeta pledge class. His Big
Brother is Samuel "Lynn" Nixon. After he was
initiated, Foy served the chapter as Interfraternity Council representative (1991),
pledge educator (1992) and, after graduation,
chapter director (1996-98). His Little Brother
is Tim Lockhart.
Foy earned his bachelor of arts degree in
Political Science in 1993 and his Master of
Public Administration degree in 1995.
"One of my most 'memorable' experiences as a
pledge was listening to the Tiffany song 'I
Think We're Alone Now' over and over again
during Inspiration Week," Foy said. "But, the
most significant thing I gained from Sigma Pi
are lifetime friendships."

Born January 4, 1977. A native of Atlanta,
Georgia, Hoffson rushed Sigma Pi in the spring
of 1996 as a member of the Rho pledge class. His
Big Brother is the infamous Rob Mitchell. After
his initiation, Hoffson served the chapter as
formal chairman (1996-97), herald (1997), rush
chairman (1997-98) and president (1998). His
Little Brothers are Brian Gotleib and Kevin
Hiler.
Hoffson majored in communication, graduating
from FSU in December 1998 with a bachelor of
science degree. He currently lives in Atlanta,
GA., where he works for Maxim
Healthcare
- Born April 8, 1972. A native of Ft.
Lauderdale, Florida, Marino rushed Sigma Pi in
fall 1993 as a member of the Mu pledge class.
His Big Brother is John Maceluch. After being
initiated, Marino served as the chapter's
sergeant-at-arms. His Little Brother is G.W.
Finch. Marino, who majored in real estate in the
College of Business, graduated from FSU in 1997.
Marino, who currently lives in Tallahassee,
works for
Southland Commercial
He is married Leah Lasseigne May 20, 2000.
Lasseigne, graduated
from the FSU College of Law in April 2000.

Feb. 21, 1969. Seay grew up in the small town of
Blountstown, Fla, roughly fifty miles west of
Tallahassee.
"I've been going to FSU football games every
year since 1975 when I was in first grade. That
was the year before Bobby Bowden became head
football coach," Seay said.
Seay rushed Sigma Pi as a junior transfer
student in the fall of 1989. He was a member of
the Gamma pledge class and was named Pledge of
the Semester (fall 1989). After being initiated,
he served as scholarship chairman (1990). His
Big Brother is Von Limbaugh.
Seay, who majored in English (his native
language - he jokes he didn't learn anything
new), graduated from FSU in the spring of 1991
with a bachelor of arts degree. Seay is an
editor for the Florida State University Media
Relations Office. He produces "State," FSU's
internal newsletter for 5,000 faculty and staff
members. Seay also writes articles for the
Florida State Times, the university's alumni
publication, and university news releases. |
