I put the money to good use. Right now I am living in Houston and working at the Texas Medical Center. It is huge and my hours are long. I have put the money to good use as I have been paying double rent this whole time as Tulane keeps telling us that we will go back anytime. This has been for months now.  Very frustrating.

Thanks for checking up on us.  I haven't been to a computer in a while so I apologize for the delayed response.  I've finally started working my regular job again with a basic computer I recently purchased.  I finally had my roof repaired and my carpeting should be in soon.  The new furniture I ordered still hasn't arrived so I'm still sitting on lawn chairs in the living room to watch all the bowl games.  The insurance companies still have not come through for my family but that is the case for most everybody here for now.  Most of the groceries are re-opening for short periods of the day but it's a big relief.  So in summary everything is still just a work in progress.

 

The holidays were pleasant for my family.  We all took a break for about a week and spent a lot of time with each other.  Despite many generous offers from brothers and friends to spend the holidays away from here,  I thought it'd be best if I stayed.  I am doing my best to spend the donations on the bare essentials and making it last.  It has really limited the amount of sacrifice most are making here for the basic comforts of life for me and I'm so appreciative for that.

 

As far as the Orange Bowl goes, I think kickers should no longer be on scholarship at FSU.  Maybe we could use it on another skill position and not have to leave the game up to a kicker to win.
