Brothers,
Greetings from Atlanta! I hope this letter finds you all doing well and adjusting to life after Hurricane Katrina. Obviously this past month has been one of great turmoil and change for all of you and your families. It’s times like these, when things might look their darkest, that it becomes most important for your family and friends to be there for support. Sigma Pi has always been about one thing – friendship and brotherhood. Something I think that always set up apart from other fraternities, and has certainly held true evidenced by everyone’s response.
While there are many ways one can show support, early on in the aftermath of Katrina, our brothers decided that we wanted to try and help relieve some of the financial burdens this disaster may have caused each of you. It was quite a proud moment to see our brothers come together and give for one of their own and I’m very pleased to be enclosing a check in the amount of $_______ to each of you.
Please use these funds in any manner that you may need. We know that this is not the end all solution to the problems you’re facing, but truly hope that this will help relieve some of the daily stress that each of you has had to endure. As always our brotherhood will stay committed to protecting our own! If there is anything that any of you need, please don’t hesitate to give me a call.
Fraternally,
